Kacific gains Teletok as its Sixth HTS Satellite Broadband Customer

Kacific has chosen Teletok, the sole service provider of telecommunications for Tokelau, a New Zealand territory comprising of a trio of small atolls, as the service provider of broadband by satellite from its HTS (High Throughput Satellite), Kacific 1 after its 2017 launch. Tokelau, with a small 1400 population, can be accessed only by charter vessel as it has no airport. The penetration of Tokelau’s Internet can be compared favourably to other, more populous countries in the Pacific in spite of its small size, Kacific claims.
