Former CEO of Thales Alenia Space U.K. Martin Gee, has resigned from his executive position. Replacing him is former director of Systems Engineering and Assessment Limited’s (SEA) space division, Ben Oliver.
Olivier has previously had positions at Matra Marconi Space and British Aerospace (Bae), as well as deputy chairman of the U.K. National Space Technology Steering Group, member of the U.K. Industrial Space Committee and board member of the Centre for Earth Observation Instrumentation.
Gee will still be working with Thales Alenia Space U.K on existing projects. Amongst other projects, he will also be helping the integration of SEA’s space division, acquired in June 2014. Thales Alenia Space U.K. is also leading a new small geostationary platform in which the SEA acquisition has a critical role.
