Remote Region Connectivity Sought by Kacific

One of the emerging satellite service providers in Asia-Pacific zone, KBS (Kacific Broadband Satellites) has identified significant opportunities to provide broadband services to the more remote areas of Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and the Pacific islands. Already, Kacific has signed a growing number of contracts – currently six – as part of their plan for a 2016 initial satellite launch for the company. The satellite will provide lower cost broadband to collective systems, local business and islanders in the area.
